NYPD investigates the scene of a 38-year-old woman who was killed and a 46-year-old man who was wounded in a stabbing inside of an apartment in the Mount Eden section of Bronx, New York, on Friday, December 6, 2024. Friday morning at approximately 3:31 AM, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 1479 Macombs Road. Upon arrival, police officers discovered a 38-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to the chest and back.

87-year-old senior citizen was fatally stabbed to the chest inside of her residence in the Old Town section of Staten Island. Thursday evening at approximately 11:31 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 33A Carmel Court. Upon arrival, police observed an 87-year-old woman who has been identified as Laxmiben Khristi with a stab wound to the chest. EMS arrived on scene and transported the victim to Staten Island University North Campus where she was pronounced dead. One person of interest was taken into custody. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.

Male suspect who was wanted for a homicide and was pursued is dead after NYPD officers shot him multiple times and killed him after he pointed a gun at officers in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York on Thursday, December 5, 2024. A man and a woman were shot in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon after police attempted to pull over their vehicle which happened near Park Place and Utica Avenue around 3 p.m. A man who was wanted for a homicide back in March and driving the vehicle was shot and killed by the NYPD and the woman was shot two times in the leg. Both the man and woman who were shot were in a vehicle that police were attempting to pull over. A child that was in the car was not hurt.
