Sunday morning at approximately 1:07 a.m. at 2690 Morris Avenue in the Bronx, a 33-year-old man was shot to the left arm and chest, and was pronounced dead at the hospital. A 36-year-old man was shot to the left arm and wrist, and he is in stable condition. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

After conducting a lawful car stop, the perpetrator attempted to flee, pushed a police officer, and resisted arrest. During the altercation, the perpetrator was found to possess a firearm.
