Queens: Merrick Blvd & 232nd Street, officers from the @NYPD105Pct public safety team conducted a traffic stop last week Friday, September 21, around 11:45 p.m., The stop was initiated due to an unregistered vehicle driving with fake plates and excessive window tint. After conducting a lawful car stop, the perpetrator attempted to flee, pushed a police officer, and resisted arrest. During the altercation, the perpetrator was found to possess a firearm. The perpetrator, a resident of Orange, New Jersey, was arrested and charged:
