One person dead and another person injured in an incident at an apartment located at 232 East 95 Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York on September 22, 2024. Sunday afternoon at approximately 1:30 p.m., police responded to a 911 call for an assault inside of 232 East 95 Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified man, unconscious and unresponsive at the location, with trauma to the chest and neck. EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. A second person, a 27-year-old man, was present at the scene and sustained lacerations throughout the body and he was taken by EMS to the hospital in serious but stable condition. Two knives were recovered at the scene. The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation and at this time there are no arrests.

Six people shot in a mass shooting on Stewart Avenue and Cherry Street in Brooklyn, New York on September 21, 2024. Early Saturday morning around 1:00 a.m., six people were shot in the area of Stewart Avenue and Cherry Street in Brooklyn, New York. A 33-year-old male was shot one time to the right ankle and is in stable condition, an 18-year-old male was shot one time to the left ankle and is in stable condition, an 18-year-old male was shot to the face and is in stable condition, an 18-year-old male was shot to the chest and is in critical but stable condition, a 20-year-old male was shot one time to the back and is in stable condition and a 20-year-old male was shot one time to the left leg and is in stable condition. There are no suspects in custody and the New York City Police Department is investigating.

One man is in critical condition and one man is in stable condition after they are both shot in the Fordham Heights section of Bronx. NYPD responded to East 183rd Street and Jerome Avenue in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx where a 29-year-old man was shot in the neck and a 19-year-old man was shot in the back. Police say that the 29-year-old man is in critical condition and that the 19-year-old man is in stable condition. There are no suspects in custody.
