Police responded to 153 Marcus Garvey Boulevard, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York. Police officers discovered a 47-year-old man identified as Donald Nesbit unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to the back. EMS responded and pronounced Donald Nesbit dead at the scene. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
45-year-old man identified as Steven Battle of the Bronx was shot in the head and killed by an unidentified suspect in front of 142 Rockaway Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York. The unidentified suspect fled the scene in a black four door Cadillac SUV. The suspect is described as a man, dark complexion, slim build, with braids and facial hair and he was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, light colored grey jeans with black and white sneakers.
