45-year-old man identified as Anthony Casalaspro fatally stabbed multiple times to the head and neck then allegedly decapitated inside of 380 Cary Avenue in Staten Island, New York on Monday, October 6, 2025. Monday afternoon at approximately 4:24 PM, police responded and found Casalaspro with multiple stab wounds to the head, neck, and decapitated. EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased on scene. 19-year-old Damien Hurstel was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
