One man dead and two men hurt in a shooting at approximately 8:34 AM on the 1400 block of College Avenue in the Claremont neighborhood within the confines of the 44 precinct in Claremont, Bronx, New York, on August 27, 2025. A 37-year-old man was pronounced dead. A 62-year-old man is stable and a 59-year-old man is stable. A man was taken into custody by the NYPD after he was barricaded. The investigation is ongoing by NYPD.
