27-year-old male fatally shot to the stomach at the Lafayette Gardens NYCHA complex on DeKalb Avenue within the confines of the 79 precinct in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, on July 12, 2025. Saturday evening at approximately 9:23 PM, the shooting took place and NYPD officers subsequently converged in the area to search for clues and any surveillance video. There are no suspects in custody, the investigation is ongoing and the scene is held for the NYPD Crime Scene Unit.
