Two men are shot, and one man is killed in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, New York on October 2, 2024. On Wednesday morning at approximately 12:05 a.m., on West 160 Street and Amsterdam Avenue, police officers located an unidentified man with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS transported the unidentified man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Subsequently, police were informed that a 25-year-old man was transported, via private means, to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the left ankle, and he is currently in stable condition. There are no suspects in custody.

One man was killed and two other men were injured following a shooting in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York on September 30, 2024.
