A young child was hit by a vehicle on Mt Read Boulevard near Jay Street. This happened just before 10 PM tonight. First responders seen on video putting in efforts to treat the injured child. An ambulance also seen leaving the scene with light and sirens on.

An investigation is underway after a double shooting in Crotona Park. Police say a 39-year-old woman was shot in the shoulder, and a 35-year-old man was shot in the back and the shoulder, both of the victims were sitting in a car. No arrests so far

Queens All Hands Box 5209: Incident Location: 119-14 Lefferts Boulevard Cars On Fire with Extension To PD. All Hands, Under Control

Manhattan: East 27th Street and 2nd Avenue, officers from the @NYPD13Pct responded yesterday at approximately 4:10 p.m. to a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, officers encountered civilians holding down a suspect who had been seen in a video dragging a garbage bag containing the dead body of a 31-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head, as previously reported by @NY_Scoop . The suspect, who was operating an electric wheelchair, was captured on video dragging the body. Following a brief investigation, officers took 55-year-old Chad Irish, a Bronx residentwithinthe confines of the @NYPD43Pct , into custody. As officers and EMS escorted the suspect out on a stretcher, the crowd attempted to serve justice by pushing and punching the suspect. Chad Irish has been charged with Concealment of a Human Corpse.
