1 year agoRochester police confirms a man has died after being shot near East Avenue in the bar district. There is a large police presence and lots of police tape up with evidence markers all over the ground

1 year agoPolice have blocked off East Avenue from the Union Street intersection up to Alexander. The road is not passable so please seek alternate routes. Some bars are now closing
1 year agoGun shots just rang out on East Avenue by the Union Street intersection. I was about to go into a bar when I heard the shots go off. One person is laying on the ground outside of Veneto which is still closed. Firefighters & police rushed to the scene immediately

1 year agoTwo people were shot and injured at an event space on Albion Avenue in Elmhurst, Queens. Officers located the wounded pair and EMS was requested for hospital transport. No arrests at this time.
