The bear remains in a tree on State Street and has even taken some time to take a snooze. @NYSDEC Police is on scene and are working to safely remove the bear. The roadway remains closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic at this time

2 year agoBuffalo Fire confirms everyone made it out safely. Nine adults and two children have been displaced. The American Red Cross on scene. The house that burned to the ground was vacant and being renovated. The cause of fire is under investigation.
2 year agoThe eleven people displaced by the fire on Massachusetts & Prospect lived in the two homes on either side of the one where it started. That house was vacant and was being renovated. Fire crews say there was no dry wall inside, which made it more flammable
About 20 animals are dead following a large barn fire in Gouverneur, NY.
Buffalo Police believe everyone made it out of the homes safely. Conditions are now more manageable but crews remain on scene.@news4buffalo

2 year agoA man was shot in Brooklyn and transported by EMS to an area hospital. The severity of the males wounds are unknown at this time. Police requested backup to Autumn Ave & Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn for a suspect search.

2 year agoA house fire was quickly dismantled by Rochester firefighters on Rosewood Terrace. Multiple calls came in for smoke in the area just around 11:25 PM. The fire was dismantled with no injuries and no severe damages.
