50 years ago we lost FF Henry Mitchell, L-124 Operating on the roof of a smokey 2 alarm at 122 Wilson Ave, FF Mitchell was cutting open the roof. Once completed, he entered the building to search for victims. Fellow firefighters discovered his lifeless body after the fire was out

2 year agoA man stabbed was critically wounded near 7th Ave & W 27th st in Manhattan's Flatiron District. The heavily bloodied man found across the street from the Fashion Institute of Technology was rushed to an area hospital.
Family and friends of James Hallenbeck are still coming to terms with his untimely death. Hallenbeck was shot and killed on Aug. 21 while walking near his home on Olean Street
