Police presence at Central Synagogue following an arrest of an individual from out of state making antisemitic social media posts targeting Central Synagogue in the Midtown section of Manhattan, New York, on Friday, February 14, 2025. An individual made antisemitic posts targeting Central Synagogue which is the oldest synagogue in continuous use in New York City and is one of the leading Reform congregations in the country. A suspect on his way to New York City was arrested in New Jersey at 5:30 PM Friday evening and is in police custody.
