A 17-year-old boy was shot in the head at the Flatbush Gardens complex at 1402 Brooklyn Avenue in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Tuesday morning at approximately 12:34 AM, the boy was rushed to Kings County Hospital in critical condition. Over 14 shell casings are found at the scene, and the NYPD crime scene unit investigators collected evidence. There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing

Four male suspects impersonating NYPD officers with NYPD jackets robbed a deli on Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York.
