On Tuesday at approximately 2:57 am, a 51-year-old male is shot in the leg and transported to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, and a 39-year-old male is also shot in the leg and taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition. There are no arrests, and the investigation continues by the NYPD.

Two young girls were seriously injured in a shooting in Greenwich Village Sunday night, police said.

NYPD tells me that the victim who sustained a gunshot wound to the head is a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. The 16-year-old girl is critical and the 17-year-old girl is stable. There are no arrests at this time.

FDNY responded to a fatal 2-alarm fire at 65 Jesup Place in the Bronx. One person died. Seven other civilians were treated for injuries as well as four Firefighters. Units arrived to vehicles parked on a fire hydrant. While this did not delay getting water on the fire, the FDNY reminds New Yorkers that blocking a fire hydrant in NYC is ILLEGAL. The vehicle was towed and will be criminally summonsed which is punishable by up to a $5,000 fine.
