Pedestrian killed by a woman driving a vehicle in Unionport section of Bronx, New York. a 60-year-old man pedestrian was killed after being struck by a 33-year-old woman who was driving a Jeep Cherokee who remained on scene. The collision happened at Bruckner Boulevard and Castle Hill Avenue. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

NYPD crime scene investigators search for evidence at the scene where a 30-year-old man was killed in an assault in Throggs Neck section of Bronx, New York . NYPD responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 1022 Throgs Neck Expressway. Upon arrival, officers observed a 30-year-old man identified as Kristopher Samaroo with trauma about the body. The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.

2-Alarm Blaze burned through Three Business in Queens this morning in Rego Park neighborhood of Queens.Fire started at a business on Woodhaven Blvd that extended to multiple buildings. Operations quickly escalated to a 2 alarm response from FDNY as the intense fire affected multiple businesses before being brought under control. Incident reported at around 11am in Rego Park, Queens. Injuries not known and cause of fire is under investigation.

Henrietta Fire says a small fire affected two apartments and the building was evacuated as a precaution. Residents who live in the two apartments affected will be helped by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
