Firefighters headed to Corrigan St, telephone alarm for a house fire with a person trapped

NYPD Crime Scene Unit investigated two crime scenes in the area outside a senior center where a fatal shooting transpired in Bronx, New York. a 40-year-old man identified as Kavon Reid was shot on East 198th Street and Pond Place and suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and leg. NYPD and EMS responded to the scene and discovered that East 198th Street and Bainbridge Avenue was where the victim collapsed. Reid was unconscious and unresponsive. EMS transported Reid to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no suspects in custody.

Two men are shot, and one man is killed in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, New York on October 2, 2024. On Wednesday morning at approximately 12:05 a.m., on West 160 Street and Amsterdam Avenue, police officers located an unidentified man with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS transported the unidentified man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Subsequently, police were informed that a 25-year-old man was transported, via private means, to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the left ankle, and he is currently in stable condition. There are no suspects in custody.
