The police officer who was involved was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Bystanders called 911 saying someone was shot near Russell St. Police responded there and determined it was the suspect from the earlier incident. The suspect is in serious condition. The officer involved was also taken in a hospital with minor injuries
11 month agoRPD says an officer was dispatched to the gas station on Culver and University. Officer got in some sort of altercation with a suspect and fired at least one round. The suspect was struck at least one time, fled the scene and later pulled over near Russell Street
