At least four people are dead after a fire tore through a house in New York City. NBC New York reports as many as 10 were injured when the flames broke out just before 2:30 a.m. Monday on East 14th Street in Brooklyn.

Police are investigating the death of a man who was fatally shot in the Upper West Side early Saturday. Officers responded to a call about an assault along West 109 Street and Columbus Avenue around 12:30 a.m.
A Niagara Falls man has been charged with first degree robbery and petit larceny after a robbery at the A-Plus Sunoco on Packard Road late Friday night. Just after midnight, the Sunoco employee called 911 to report a robbery involving a loaded rifle. Shortly after, New York State Police received word that someone matching the suspect's description was walking on Porter Road.

Malone-based state troopers responded to a single vehicle accident on Clark Street in Moira on Saturday morning. A 2004 Chevrolet was traveling north on the snow and ice-covered highway when it hit a ditch and overturned.
A man was killed in a shooting that involved an FBI agent and police officers in Yonkers on Friday, according to the FBI. Sources tell PIX11 News the man killed was a bank robbery suspect. The shooting happened while the FBI New York agent and a Yonkers Police Department officer were "conducting law enforcement activity," the FBI said.

The Salamanca Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident. According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle at about 5:37 p.m. at Route 353 and North State in the Town of Salamanca.
A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot near Central Park Friday evening. A 56-year-old man was arrested Thursday in Allentown on an attempted homicide warrant out of New York City, the Northampton County Sheriff's Department reports. Larry Stewart at 11 p.m. Sept. 3 shot Jamal Lumpkin, 44, once in the chest in front of 1373 Sterling Place in Brooklyn, the NYPD said in an email. Lumpkin survived.

Authorities are investigating the death of a 5-year-old Queens boy who was found unconscious at his home nearly a year ago as a homicide, police said Thursday. Cops responding to a 911 call at Michael Guzman's home on 109th Avenue in Jamaica on Jan. 22 found the young boy unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. The child's death was only recently ruled a homicide.
