Batavia: The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal fire in a Batavia motel room. Deputies responded at 8:57 a.m. Saturday for a report of a fire at Sunset Motel on West Main Street in the Town of Batavia. Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
Buffalo: A food delivery driver working for Skip the Dishes was shot in the face with a BB gun in an attempted robbery at 3:17 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Berwyn Avenue. The driver said he was called to the address and as he attempted to deliver the food he was approached by three man who tried to get in his car. One tried to enter the driver's side and another tried to open the driver's side back door, according to the police report.
