9 month agoNYPD officers being shot at exchange gunfire with a suspect near the Major Deegan Expressway exit 5 in the Bronx. According to police radio transmissions, one suspect is in custody and may have been shot. No officers were injured.

9 month agoFDNY now calling for a 5th Alarm response to the Hamilton Heights apartment inferno on W 141st Street in NYC. We talked with resident Kari who escaped the heavy smoke and flames with her family who were all sleeping when the fire broke out.

9 month agoPolice responded to a fatal vehicle accident on the Van Wyck Expressway n/b at Jewel Ave near exit 11. According to police at least one person has been pronounced DOA and another seriously injured was transported by EMS to area hospital.
